There are three different types of seating at Silverstone, all of which offer distinctly different experiences:
Club Corner – This is a premium viewing area, where fans get a close-up look at the type of cornering that makes you Anderson Cooper sweaty just watching it. Not so much a corner, really, as a series of high-speed, high-G turns that send a car in one direction and then another and then another — like a rubber band being plucked. From the Club Corner, you can see cars entering the bend at speed, and you can see them as they leave the bend and re-enter a straightaway (probably not a good place to stand if you're a male model, as the cars coming out of that bend don't exactly have a straight-line profile).
Grandstand – This is where the peons sit. Raked seating that extends away from the track, almost like a stage with no curtain, and fans in the Grandstand get a top-view look at what is essentially a very long straightaway. The way the cars roar by on the main straight is different from the way they roar by anywhere else on the circuit. Hearing them at full throttle is the unmistakable sound of racing.
